So we now have 3 small squares as I have decided to do a blanket with individual squares not just the one large. I have no idea how to join them or any idea on borders…
I’m also unsure how many I will need this is a bit of an experiment…
I learned to crochet 3 weeks ago today and now I’m embarking on my first blanket project! It’s a Granny Square blanket and will mostly likely feature in the guest room when finished…which at this rate will be next week! This is only a few hours of hooky 🙂
Have to say I’m rather addicted now!
All thanks to Claire at Beautiful Things. A very good teacher who I would recommend to anyone in the Essex Brentwood area.
Well last night saw me get behind a sewing machine again for the 1st time in over 10 years. Fun refreshing my memory and practicing the all important straight line and try not to press the peddle to enthusiastically.
I’m determined to get back to dressmaking, it’s such a great skill and one that should probably be taught in schools again!
